Abstract landscape and floral artist Cisco was born and raised in Montreal, now living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

For the past twenty years, this self-taught artist has tried various subjects but prefers the abstract florals and landscapes as his genre of choice.

Cisco tries to capture the vibrant colors and moods of the natural environment through a loose and nonconformist process.
Relying on instinct rather than a preconceived image, his paintings are the result of adding layers and reworking the canvas into place until a favorable finished artwork emerges.

“There are many different styles and techniques to paint a flower, a sky, a mountain or a tree. I prefer not to remain static in any one artistic process but rather explore and evolve artistically to keep things interesting.
For me, if there is no evolution and desire … there is no art.”
